Join the OFA Dance Program for a virtual workshop on Lighting Design for Dance led by lighting designer Matthew Cost who is the Spring 2025 Production Supervisor & Advisor for the OFA Dance Program’s Student-Led Dance Group Residency. Learn basic concepts in theatrical lighting for dance, including the functions and qualities of light, how to use lighting to create a choreographic container, and so much more!
For choreographers, learn what to think about when it comes to lighting your piece and how to communicate your ideas to a lighting designer. For designers, learn how to communicate concepts and moments with your choreographer and how to implement your ideas onto movement.
